We are pleased to present our latest newsletter on rapeseed.
Here you will find important information and recommendations for a successful harvest:
- Variety recommendation / dressing: We recommend dressing with fungicides to avoid plant losses. Our top recommendations are Daktari Rapool, DK Expectation Dekalb, LG Archivar Limagrain, Vespa Rapool and PT 303 Pioneer.
- Stubble control: We recommend the use of Roundup Power Flex or Kyleo for effective control of couch grass and field bindweed on stubble.
- Soil cultivation/stubble liming: A medium-fine, well reconsolidated seedbed is crucial for successful sowing. Pay attention to the pH value and a good lime supply.
- Sowing rapeseed: The optimum seed is decisive for the yield. Adjust the sowing rate depending on the sowing time and variety.
- Fertilization: Oilseed rape requires sufficient nitrogen for good autumn development.
Make sure you use the right amount and type of fertilizer for your cultivation areas.
